On December 30th, 2021, Seiler Instrument & Manufacturing Company Inc. acquired the assets of Precision Midwest.

The Seiler family is excited for the opportunity to invest and build on the Trimble Survey and Mapping business. The asset purchase of Precision Midwest, located in Plainfield, Illinois, will add to the existing Midwest presence of Seiler Geospatial as a leader in GPS, Robotics, Survey, LiDAR, and software solutions.

Seiler Geospatial will be adding survey and mapping experts to the Illinois and Iowa industry solutions team. Additional innovative industry offerings will be added by the Seiler Design Solutions business segment including Autodesk AEC software and GeoSLAM mobile mapping products. We will also offer drone solutions from manufacturers such as DJI, Microdrones, and Quantum-Systems from Seiler GeoDrones.

Seiler Geospatial plans to feature Trimble Geospatial surveying equipment and software along with innovative vehicle-mounted mobile mapping and 3D spatial imaging systems.
